Early Modern Literature, History and Religion
Postgraduate Conference Call for Papers

This conference seeks to bring together postgraduate students
and academics working on early modern English literature,
history, and religion from a variety of disciplines and fields to
explore the significance of the religious controversy in the
history and literature of early modern England.
Abstracts of 200-300 words in length are invited from young
scholars working in the fields of early modern English literature,
history, and religion. The abstracts should be sent to
jhjs2@cam.ac.uk by Sept. 27 (Monday).
Dr Gregory's milestone Salvation at Stake won six prizes
including the Thomas J. Wilson Prize, Harvard University Press
and the John Gilmary Shea Prize, American Catholic Historical
Association. He is now a Dorothy G. Griffin Associate Professor of
Early Modern European History at the University of Notre Dame.
