technicians usually have some formal academic and technical training at the undergraduate or technical institution level,or experience in a specialized area of media production,maintenance,or use.
these areas may include graphics and displays;photography;operation,maintenance and repair of instructional hardware;video and audio production and communications systems;and computer management and operation.
technicial assistants usually have a general background in library media program routines,acquired primarily from on-the-job experience and training,with limited formal training within an academic or technical institutio
