Dear Joe,
Thanks for writing about the learning log format for our class. Basically, in
the learning log you should summarize the key things that you learned in class,
the things you'd like to remember. You should also use the learning log as a
way to comment on your classmates' performance in class and as a way to ask the
teacher questions about things you may not have completely understood in class.
It is also a way to make suggestions about the class, including feedback on the
activities we do in class.
We'll talk more about this next class!

Dear Joe,
Thank you for contacting me about the learning log assignment. This is a way
for you to reflect on what you learned in class as well as a way to ask me
questions and give me feedback on our class. The first part of the learning
log should include the class date and what we did in class as well as the
important things that you learned in class. The second part should include
feedback about the class (including which part you liked the most (and why),
which part(s) you had problems with (and why), and any questions or suggestions
you have about the class).
