[心得] I just want every member in the chor …
That this is serious, and not a casual time-killing activity.
We really need to put more dedication and efforts to it.
I have just experienced our second evaluation of Freshman Drama,
and all I can say is there is still a long way to go. At the ve-
ry moment I thought of our Freshman Chorus, and honestly I don't
expect a lot from it, considering we have so many songs to work
on still with however so little time to utilize and what we have
done these weeks, which, I am sorry to say, is still rough.
In the 2nd evalution, I have to point out that these supervisors
(I think we may call our "upperclassmates" that way @@) are very
particular about how we've acheived in a set period of time.They
told us actors and actresses we needed to realize the importance
of this show and we SHALL NOT belittle and skip it like it's no-
thing than an easy task which we can cope with effortlessly.
We knew then that a month or so doesn't provide enough time for
an amateur group to present a performance succesfully and bring
out the essence of it to the highest extent; therefore we reach
a consensus that only with determination to acocmplish it from
the bottom of our hearts can we make it through without failing
to fulfill our fantasy. It's what we truly want in "Fairy Tales"
right?
So do the Chorus members. Tomorrow is our last practice (maybe
not if we count Wed. in) before our 2nd evalution and I'd like
to expect a lot of people to show up and practice for their im-
provement. We are really running out of time, which keeps tick-
ing away as I am expessing my feelings on BBS.
Hey, guys! Four more songs to go through! Though Chris said he
might have to delete some of the songs in the Alladin medley, I
still hope we really can make it in the long run!
Fewer and fewer participants each week and it surely is not a
good sign. Remember, "A chorus require a group of song-loving
people instead of an only singer." Heavy schoolwork is inevi-
table, but the sense of fulfillment attained out of the perfor-
mance is even greater! (I know this is WAY TOO optimistic. Not
that I can convince myself of it....) Nevertheless, as we sow,
so shall we reap. Just hold on to it. We definitely will take
the world by storm -- in the theater at DFLL night!!!
