OCBC Bank is one of Asia's leading financial services groups and one of the
largest financial institutions in the combined Singapore-Malaysia market with
total assets of over $134 billion. It has an extensive network of 313 branches
and representative offices in 15 countries and territories including Singapore,
Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, Brunei, Japan, Australia, UK
and USA. Its Taipei office is currently offering 1-year internship opportunity
for the following requirements:
Qualifications:
1. Applicants must be a junior or expecting to graduate in 2007.
2. Strong interest in finance/corporate banking
3. Fluent in both English/Mandarin
4. Basic accounting knowledge is required
5. Ability to commit to the work
6. Able to work at least 15 hours a week (prefer afternoons)
The interns will be taught and asked to assist both the Accounting and
Settlement Departments in various tasks ranged from daily transactions to
monthly reports, as well as helping the Operation Manager in translating Head
Office documents.
