brass(E=15000ksi) sleeve is 0.375 in^2. Determine the normal stresses produced
in the bolt and sleeves by tightening the nut 1/4 turn(0.004 in.)

2.after a load P=150kN is applied to the pin-connected structure shown in the
right figure, the temperature increases 100 C for the aluminum alloy rod A and
12x10^-6/oC for the steel rod B. The moduli of elasticity of aluminum and
