To design a virtual memory for a hypervisor (virtual machine monitor) so that
it can provide different memory pages dynamically for many virtual machines
simultaneously according to the also dynamic needs from users, what kinds of

People complain that the Taipei MRT (捷運) 淡水-新店 line will be divided into
two lines to distribute the load of Taipei main station. What and how
technical (not politic) computer system problems we can improve to reduce
the complaint? [25%]
Hint: reduce waiting time, system complexity might be increased,
fault tolerance ...

To design a storage system where our course metarials including lecture notes,
projects, forum ... can be accessed friendly, anytime, anywhere, that means
it can be accessed on-line, off-line, under failure, convenient, low cost,
and ... Would it be stateful or stateless? File-based or database-based?
Naming? Security? Synchronization? Replica? Consistency? Other issues?
List as many issues, reasons, and solutions as you can under length limitation
accoroding to that cost is the most important concern. [25%]
