empirical evidence, board meeting minutes as well as sound corporate
finance theories:
1. what are the reasons for public seasoned equity offerings? in
addition to check sample firm's board meeting records, should test
empirically for the answers. You should show the relevant descriptive
statistics, do not forget again this time.
2. what are the reasons for reducing capital? observe the cases in
your sample firms and answer it empirically.
3. what is the reaction of the market to the annoucement of 現增
vs.減資? Pls distinguish the various reasons.
4. show descriptive statistics of the private placement cases in your sample,
and what are the reasons for their private placement? why didn't the firms
do it by public offering? You need to empirically examine the issue.
