NEWS-Coach blamed for Henin-Hardenne injury
大概就是Martina Navratilova在澳洲公開賽打完女雙接受訪問時,
談到因為過長的球季使得球員沒有足夠的休息時間,
造成現在女網很多球員受傷影響表現或無法出賽等..
但是她覺得Henin的膝傷乃至於去年的病毒纏身,是訓練過度所付出的代價
“And when I saw Justine training, I thought, ’My God, that woman works very,
very hard,’ and I was wondering how long she can keep it up. And there’s
your answer.
“The trainer( Pat Etcheberry ) that she works with, he’s done that to other
players. He works them too hard. He’s done it before.
“She’s in her prime physically. Obviously she overdid it a little bit, and
she knows that, and she’ll probably pull back the reins a little bit. The
trainer should have known better because he’s been there before.
“For her, it was the first time, and she worked her butt off, worked a
little too much.”

我曾經看過Henin練球一次,但那是在贏得大滿貫冠軍前,尚未和體能教練合作前吧
她練球時很認真,表情蠻嚴肅的直到練球完畢才放鬆點..
對每一次擊球都要求很高,沒打好會自己念念有詞.
感覺上很聽教練的話,所以我想對於體能教練的菜單應該也是照單全收
至於訓練有沒有過頭我不知道,不過至少曾讓Henin大變身過,
如果這次Navratilova的意見,讓教練團可以檢查檢查訓練計畫,那也不錯啊..
