12/3感染與免疫
何老師會先上課 之後再討論paper和幾個問題，
Immunity to Burkholderia pseudomallei (Curr Op Infect Dis 2009, 22 :102-108)

但是上課前老師希望大家先把答案找出來，題目如下
1. What is B. psudomallei? What diseases does it cause?
Have there been outbreaks of malioidosis in Taiwan?
2. What is the virulence mechanism of this organism (virulence factors?
Roles of these virulence factors in pathogenesis?)? How to study?
3. What is the host defense against this pathogen? How to study?
4. What are the most important implications or potential applications
of these findings?

另外還有回家作業，看paper
Mechanism of avoidance of host immunity by Neisseria meningitides and
its effect on vaccine development (Lancet Infect Dis 2009, 9: 418-427)

同樣要回答問題，12/17之前繳交紙本，約1~3頁，題目如下，
1. How can this organism inhabit the human body?
2. Why has the development of vaccines against serogroup B been
a major challenge? How has this problem been solved?
3. What new concepts or pieces of knowledge have you learnt from
this paper?
4. Any different opinions or prospects?
