講題大綱：
瑞典模式的社會福利為瑞典在1960年代被認為是世界上最現代的社會的主要原因之一。
我們將會在此呈現「瑞典模式」的社會福利以及這國家邁向現代化之整體歷史脈絡。
瑞典式現代化的重點歷史因素，在於扮演主導地位的社會民主(自1930年代起)將家庭及
住宅政策與公共衛生列入政治議程的首位，我們將從此背景角度切入，檢視瑞典以及北歐
其他國家社會福利模式的發展，並與國際間其他福利模式做一比較，也將探究全球化如何
影響瑞典式福利模式。
During the 1960s many people considered Sweden to be the most modern society
in the world. One of the main reasons for this idea was the Swedish model of
welfare. What we will present is the historical background to Swedish
modernityin general and the Swedish model of social welfare especially.
Important historical components of Swedish modernity is a strong state, a
dominating social democracy (from the 1930s) that put family and housing
policy together with public health on top of the political agenda. From this
background we will discuss the specific form of welfare model that developed
in Sweden and other Nordic countries, in comparison with other welfare models
internationally. The present discussion about how globalization affects the
Swedish model will also be discussed.
