After all, he was brought in to bring some offensive punch and he's only averaging 10.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game this season. So Suns coach Alvin Gentry says that he may demote Turkoglu to the bench. That would help keep him from mismatches against bigger post players, according to the Arizona Republic. On Monday, Turkoglu left the game against the Memphis Grizzlies after only 2:23 because of fouls against Zach Randolph(notes) and Marc Gasol(notes). "I will not play Hedo against a guy like Zach Randolph," Gentry said to the Republic. "It's unfair to him. I'd rather have him in the game five minutes later where he has no fouls than to take him out in the first five minutes." Turkoglu is currently averaging 3.9 personal fouls per game, up from his 2.5 career average.
