Brandon Roy will go with GM Rich Cho, Greg Oden, and Eliot Williams on Wednesday to meet with esteemed orthopedic doctor Neal Elattrache in L.A. to get a second opinion on his left knee, which is the one he had surgically repaired in 2008, and not the one he hurt last year. Talk about a party. Jokes aside, this is really bad news for him, the Blazers, and of course, his owners. He left during the first quarter of Tuesday's game and returned with a heat sleeve, and has requested less minutes, but the fear is that surgery may be needed. The Blazers are no longer initiating the offense through him, and he has lost his explosiveness. Owners can only hope that rest is the answer.
