Memphis Grizzlies guard Allen Iverson(notes) has left the team due to
personal reasons, a source told Yahoo! Sports today. The source also said
that Iverson’s departure has nothing to due with his postgame rants after
three games this week in regards to his unhappiness with being a reserve and
playing time. Another source said he has not asked to be waived, either. It’
s uncertain when he will return to the Grizzlies.
