今天上完課，想說沒事，就到學校的圖書館晃一晃，在休閒期刊區，躺了一本吸引我目光的封面是NBA官方所出版的 HOOP 雜誌，2009 MAR/APR http://oz.nthu.edu.tw/~u9661105/DSC00959.JPG

上面比較明顯的粗體字寫著： "DECADE OF DOMINANCE"，搭配著三位縱橫這個DECASE偉大球員的黑白照片真的，很有感覺 http://oz.nthu.edu.tw/~u9661105/DSC00955.JPG

心中不禁感慨，不知不覺，看球看了十年了... 十年前，1999，喬神第二次褪下球衣，球員薪資高漲，封館，縮水成50場一季石佛Duncan、海軍上將Robinson，在總冠軍賽擊退老八傳奇打上了的Knicks，為馬刺開啟了十年四冠的基石。 "DECADE OF DOMINACE"是這期的主題，選出十位足以代表這十年的球員，有 Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Allen Iverson, LeBron James, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Shaquille O'neal 等十位。並把這十位球員的臉分解在組成一張臉： http://oz.nthu.edu.tw/~u9661105/DSC00967.JPG

其中 Tim Duncan & Shaquille O'neal 這兩位都分別以四頁的篇幅來描寫，其他八位則皆以兩頁的篇幅述說。對於 King James 2003才加入NBA，為何可以稱為這個DECASE的DOMINACE呢? 解釋為：就和1997，Shaquille O'neal入選NBA五十大球星一樣，當時他才甫進NBA滿五年。 "Like Shaq's inclusion in the NBA's 50 Greatest in '97" 因為都是英文，所以內容僅僅大略掃過，excepting Vince Carter & Allen Iverson. 在寫Carter的專欄中，寫道了：Vince是這十位當中，唯二沒參與過final的， accomplishments和其他人相較之下，似乎也弱了一點。節錄自原文： "But Vince's place here isn't measured in layoff rounds, but in inces, err, manke that fee -- like in seven-feet-two inches of Frederic aWeis that Vince pogos over -- or feats --way too many to even begin listing here." 但他的成就，並不是數據或是成績可以代表的，例如說七呎二吋的Frédéric Weis 。而他在2000的 Slam Dunk Contest的那五灌，更是經典(sorry for MJ, Dominique, Spud, Dr.J...)寫到這裡跟很多灌籃高手道歉。這些話面，永遠留在這個decade的球迷心中... Vince Carter does, however, go down as the greatest showstopper in the game and earns a place among the best of this decade. Allen Iverson: It's hard to believe that Al has 12-plus NBA season under his belt. Not only because it seems like it was only yesterday when he was crossing up MJ and htting game-winners over Tyronn Lue and the Lakers in the finals, but also due to his size -- it's simply amazing that 6-0, 180 pound guard who has spent most of his career driving to the hole and banging with bigs has withstood the pain of over 865 games. 看完這句話，好似這些事昨天才發生過，AI，漂亮的crossover 晃開了喬神，中距離得手!
