Jerseys Celebrate Oakland With a Nod to the We Believe Era
The Golden State Warriors today unveiled Oakland Forever, presented by
Rakuten, the team’s new on-court City Edition Nike jerseys for the upcoming
NBA season. The jerseys celebrate the team’s 47 seasons in Oakland by
focusing on one of the most iconic and beloved moments in franchise history,
the We Believe era.
Inspired by the uniforms worn by the team from 1997-2010, the new City
Edition jerseys feature Oakland across the front of the uniform, where the
team played its home games from 1972-1996 and 1997-2019. The era included the
celebrated We Believe playoff run in 2007, when the Warriors became the first
eight-seed to defeat a one-seed in a best-of-seven playoff series with a 4-2
upset over the Dallas Mavericks.
勇士隊公布新賽季城市版球衣，
寫著奧克蘭字樣，
藉此紀念勇士隊曾在奧克蘭待了47個球季(1972~2019)。
球衣設計風格參照1997~2010年時期的球衣，
也致敬2007年 "We Believe" ，
當時勇士隊成為NBA季後賽第一輪改制為7戰4勝制後，
第一支達成 "老八傳奇" 的球隊，
當時以4勝2敗淘汰達拉斯小牛隊。
心得：勇士隊都已經搬到舊金山了才出奧克蘭球衣，
反觀以前在奧克蘭的時候還曾穿過幾次印有舊金山的復古球衣。
