The Los Angeles Lakers have encountered yet another bump in the road as they
prepare for a 2019-20 NBA season that carries championship expectations. The
team announced that forward Kyle Kuzma will be out until at least mid-October
with a foot injury:
湖人在即將來臨2019-20賽季，大家期待他們要拿下冠軍，而在往那目標前進的路上出現了
變數。湖人球團宣布，前鋒Kyle Kuzma因為腳傷，將會至少缺席到10月中：

Of course, it remains to be seen whether Kuzma will miss any time to begin
the regular season. However, this is still a frustrating development for a
Laker team that is trying to establish chemistry after a summer in which the
team experienced a total roster makeover.
當然，目前還不知道Kuzma在正規賽開始的時候能不能夠上場。然而，這樣的事情還是很讓
湖人沮喪的，因為經過這個夏天，球員剛重整完，才正要準備磨合打球。
Kuzma had left Team USA camp prior to the start of the 2019 FIBA World Cup
due to “ankle soreness,” but the latest reports have alleviated any
skepticism that he was using the designation as an excuse to skip out on
playing with the Senior Team.
Kuzma之前就因為腳踝痠痛退出2019 FIBA美國隊的陣容，不過這個新聞出來倒是澄清了之
前有人懷疑Kuzma用假病的理由不跟學長隊(Senior Team)打比賽。
The Lakers have already had to respond to one significant injury, with
DeMarcus Cousins tearing his ACL back in August. Los Angeles would eventually
sign Dwight Howard, who will make a return trip to Hollywood after a
tumultuous 2012-13 season with the Purple and Gold.
湖人八月的時候才剛有傷情傳出，DeMarcus Cousins傷了前十字韌帶。所以，湖人簽回了
在2012-13球季為湖人打過球的Dwight Howard。
Kuzma was the only young star that the Lakers retained in the Anthony Davis
trade after he ranked second on the team in scoring and developed a rapport
with LeBron James. Los Angeles lacks playmakers on the wing outside of Kuzma
and James, and they need Kuzma to continue to develop as a perimeter shooter
after being one of the worst teams in the league from beyond the arc last
season.
Kuzma上個球季在隊上的得分排名第二，與LBJ建立了好交情，是那樁與鵜鶘交易Anthony
Davis後唯一留下來的年輕小將。湖人除了Kuzma跟LBJ外，缺乏重要的攻擊發動機；而在上
個球季湖人在三分投射上聯盟排名倒數的狀況下，湖人更需要Kuzma在外圍投射上的持續進
步。
But first, Kuzma has to get healthy.
不過在那之前，Kuzma得要保持健康才行。
