New Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving is a big fan of hit TV cartoon
series “SpongeBob Squarepants”; so much so that he convinced Nike and
Nickelodeon to collaborate in order to launch a shoe collection based on the
cartoon.
籃網控球後衛Kyrie Irving是電視卡通"海綿寶寶"的大粉絲；他喜歡到他說服Nike與卡通
頻道Nickelodeon合作，出一套以海綿寶寶為題材的鞋。
Irving isn’t hiding the fact that he loves the SpongeBob, which he said
provided him with plenty of valuable lessons — including being expressive.
KI沒有掩飾他超愛海綿寶寶的事實，他說海綿寶寶讓他學到很多東西--其中包括要勇於表
達。
Sure enough, being a fan of the cartoon, the NBA superstar has also imagined
what would a basketball lineup of Bikini Bottom residents look like. In his
recent interview with Cam Wolf of GQ.com, Irving talked about it and even
determined what positions SpongeBob, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs will play in a
team.
當然，身為一位死忠卡通粉，他當然也想過若是比奇堡裡的這些角色若是來打籃球的話，
他們的先發名單會是如何。最近他接受GQ的訪問，講到了海綿寶寶，章魚哥以及蟹老闆若
是打籃球的話，他們該打哪個位置。
“Squidward is a shooting guard. He’s the most selfish one. He just shoots
his own shots. He doesn’t care what’s going on.”
「章魚哥是個得分後衛，他是最自私的那個。他只會自顧自的投球，他不管其他人的。」
“SpongeBob is really like… positionless. He can play the 3/4, go to the 1.”
「至於海綿寶寶，嗯，比較像是....沒有特別的位置。他可以打3或4，然後去1號位。」
“Mr. Krabs is like the power forward. He’s literally the muscle of the
group. He’s always giving different business ideas on how to spend money and
like, “The Krusty Krab is the best ever!” and he’s competing with the Chum
Bucket. He’s like the Charles Oakley. Weight god who’s coming in, but there
are also teaching moments in it.”
「蟹老闆比較像是強力前鋒，他可以說是這個球隊的肌肉棒子，他總是有著各式各樣的生
意點子，要怎樣花錢經營，像是『蟹堡王餐廳是最棒的！』然後他得跟海之霸對抗，他就
像是Charles Oakley，有著肌肉，但是也有動腦筋的時刻。」
Irving didn’t say what position Sandy and Patrick will play, but he admitted
that the former is the most talented character in the show so he’ll
definitely give the ‘superstar’ tag to the squirrel who loves to live
underwater. Kyrie, though, quickly reiterated that SpongeBob is still his
favorite character.
不過KI沒有說珊迪跟派大星要打哪個位置，但是他承認說珊迪是最有天賦的角色，所以他
會把"超級明星"的標籤給這位喜歡住在水底的松鼠。然而，KI再次重申海綿寶寶仍是他最
愛的角色。

Irving said that fans will see him his SpongeBob collection next season as he
debuts for the Nets.
KI說當下個球季開打的時候，粉絲們將會看到他的海綿寶寶系列鞋。
