TORONTO — The Golden State Warriors had just defeated the Toronto Raptors,
109-104, in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night, but Steph Curry wasn’t
finished with the Raptors.

He took aim during a postgame interview on the court with ABC’s Doris Burke,
who asked Curry for his thoughts on the game-clinching 3-pointer from
Warriors swingman Andre Iguodala.

Moments before the shot, Curry nearly threw the ball away before it ended up
in the hands of Iguodala, who made the 3-pointer with 5.9 seconds left to
play — sealing the victory and evening the series 1-1.

“The whole fourth quarter they were playing some janky defense, just trying
to send bodies to me everywhere,’’ Curry said. “And our whole roster just
took advantage of it.

“Over the course of the game, that’s kind of disrespectful to leave Andre

Curry's comments prompted a mini-interrogation of the Raptors.

“Well, we weren't disrespecting anybody,’’ Toronto coach Nick Nurse said.
“We were up guarding hard, and we put two on Steph and he almost threw it
right to Kawhi (Leonard), right?

Iguodala is a career 33.3% shooter from 3-point range, and until that final
play on Sunday night he was — appropriately enough — 1-for-3.

Leonard, the Raptors’ star who nearly intercepted Curry’s pass to Warriors
teammate Shaun Livingston before Livingston found Iguodala open, joined the
postgame interrogation.

Raptors guard Fred VanVleet insisted Iguodala’s open 3-pointer was no sign
of disrespect.

“We know that Iggy's made big shots in his whole career,’’ VanVleet said.
“He's done that for that team for the last however many years, so we have
seen that movie before.

“…And I think that we just got to do a better job of probably running back
