Michael Scotto Sources: Heat expected to bring in Kyle Anderson, C.J. Wilcox, Joe Harris, Jordan Bachynski & Markel Brown in for workouts today. (6/12) Anderson is an interesting prospect. Standing at 6-foot-9, Anderson is caught between point guard and small forward and in this Miami Heat offense, Anderson would be able to play both roles as the team has adopted a position-less offense. Think of him as a possible Boris Diaw replicate, but more so the guy we saw in Atlanta and Phoenix rather than in San Antonio. With his ability to move the ball, create for others, and hit the open three, Defense would be an issue. Despite being 6'9, Anderson isn’t the fastest guy on the block, and that’s an issue as Miami’s blitz defense has been key in their success over the last few years.
