[外電] 卡帥談論狗屋、上場時間與先發陣容

Rick Carlisle doesn’t have a doghouse, although he launched into an
interesting conversation with media members before tonight’s game about
whether he should build one for certain members of the working press.
雖然卡帥沒有狗屋，但他跟記者們在今晚賽前（編按：對湖人的比賽）談到這個有趣的話
題。他說他有點想建一間狗屋把某些記者關進去。
At any rate, he said he doesn’t handle player situations with the use of a
doghouse.
還好，卡帥說他不會把狗屋用在球員身上。
“I don’t know what you mean by a doghouse,” he said. “But if there’s
evidence that I have a doghouse, I have yet to see it.”
「我不知道你們說的狗屋是什麼意思耶？」卡帥說：
「如果我有狗屋的話，為什麼我到現在都沒看過哩？」
Still, it’s been interesting to watch certain players go from starting to
the bench – and vice-versa. Carlisle tries to pay very close attention to
every player’s situation and often talks to them about coaching decisions he
makes.
不過，看到球員們從先發被調到替補，從替補調到先發的過程，還是頗耐人尋味。
卡帥試著用心了解每個球員的狀態，也經常向球員們解釋教練為什麼這樣調度。
Rookie Jae Crowder, for instance, didn’t play last Monday against Golden
State, then was one of the key components in the win over New York on
Wednesday.
例如新秀Jae Crowder在禮拜一對勇士的比賽之中連上都沒上，
但在擊敗尼克的那場比賽卻展現實力並幫助球隊贏球。
Brandan Wright has been a starter in eight games this season, but did not
play against the Knicks.
Brandan Wright打過8場比賽的先發，結果對尼克一戰連上都沒上。
“I think he’s an important for us still and he’s had a couple good days of
practice, so I think there’s a good chance he’ll play,” Carlisle said of
Wright.
談到Wright，卡帥表示：「我覺得球隊還是很需要他，而他在練習時表現地也很不錯，所
以我認為他未來還是有機會上場表現的。」
Carlisle wasn’t kidding. Wright and Elton Brand are in the starting lineup,
replacing Chris Kaman and Troy Murphy.
卡帥可不是講假的。Wright和Brand取代了Kaman和Murphy的先發位置。
Wright, Brand, Shawn Marion, O.J. Mayo and Darren Collison represent the same
starting lineup the Mavericks used in Game 1 on Oct. 30 in a win at the
Lakers.
Wright、Brand、Marion、Mayo以及Collison就是在10月30日對上湖人時的先發五人。
今晚的陣型也是一樣。
After shootaround on Saturday, Crowder said he was somewhat surprised by his
DNP-CD on Monday, but he understands that with this team, playing time is
going to be fluid and often will come down to who has a hot hand or how a
matchup looks on paper.
在星期六的投籃練習之後，Crowder說他對於星期一被冰有些意外，
但他了解在這個球隊裡，上場時間的分配不是固定的，
而是會隨著球員的近況以及當天的對手陣型而做安排。
“It’s over with though,” Crowder said. “I’m moving on. He’s moving on.
「不過那都過去了」Crowder說：「我要繼續前進。」他已經釋懷了。
“It’s tough. I can’t sit here and say it’s not tough. But at the same
time, I kind of expected it being a rookie, so I tried to prepare myself as
much as possible. But it’s hard to prepare for it because you’ve never been
through it.”
「這真的不好受。我沒有辦法坐在板凳上然後一派輕鬆。但在此同時，我似乎有點體會了
，做為一個新人，面對各種情況，我必須隨時做好準備。但有些事你沒有經歷過，面對坐
冷板凳的事實，當下你是很難去調適自己的。」
Asked what he does to stay engaged mentally, Crowder said: “You never know
what can happen. You never know if he’s going to start you that night or not
play you. So you got to be mentally tough and mentally prepared. And know the
game plan for sure.
那Crowder是怎麼去調適過來的呢？他說：「你不知道教練會怎麼調度，你不知道這場比
賽你會先發還是不會上場。所以你要有堅強的心理素質，做好各種心理準備。當然也要了
解教練設定的作戰重點。」
“No doubt. I feel like I’m a very lucky rookie right now to get playing
time. This opportunity is a great one for me.”
「唯一確定的是，我覺得我是一個非常幸運的新人，至少我有一定的上場時間，這個機會
對我而言是非常非常重要的。」Crowder這樣說。

心得：從幾篇外電中發現，最近關於卡帥的調度，出現了不少雜音，
特別是在Brand Crowder Wright 這三人的調度上，也引來記者們的好奇
質疑卡帥是否用「狗屋」（指把球員冰著不上場或調到替補） 為手段
來加強領導權威，對此，卡帥也許有些不快吧，也因此有了文中第一段的插曲
從另一方面，這也是可用之兵變多的好現象，才會有上場時間的爭議，哈哈
DC再不穩下去，會不會DOJO就上來先發一場呢…XDDD
Murphy都能先發了…DC替補好像也沒那麼意外了…
