Dwane Casey gets his Mavericks NBA title ring from Tyson Chandler
TORONTO -- Tyson Chandler had a special Valentine's Day gift for Raptors
coach Dwane Casey when he came to Toronto on Tuesday: an NBA championship
ring.
Chandler, now with the Knicks , presented the ring to Casey before Tuesday's
game in Toronto. Casey was an assistant coach and Chandler the starting
center for the Dallas Mavericks team when they beat Miami in the NBA finals.
Following the player introductions, the scoreboard played a video of
Mavericks highlights and messages of congratulation to Casey from Dallas
players Dirk Nowitzki , Jason Terry and Jason Kidd , and Mavericks coach Rick
Carlisle. Chandler and Casey then walked to center court and embraced. Casey
was joined by his wife and children and presented with the diamond studded
ring.
去年擔任小牛助理教練，今年則前往暴龍擔任總教練的Dwane Casey在
與尼克比賽的賽前從拳王手中接過戒指。(我也不知道拳王為何會有XD
不過他應該還沒拿他自己的？)賽前大螢幕有播放來自小牛球員Dirk、
Jet和Kidd的道賀片段。

Nuggets' Corey Brewer to get his Mavericks championship ring Wednesday
The Dallas Mavericks will present Denver's Corey Brewer with his championship
ring before Wednesday night's game against the Nuggets at American Airlines
Center.
Brewer appeared in 19 regular-season and playoff games with the Mavericks
last season. His most significant contribution came in the opener of the
Western Conference semifinals against the Los Angeles Lakers. Brewer played
more than eight minutes off the bench and helped trigger the comeback from a
16-point deficit in the third quarter.
The Mavericks hope Brewer does not respond as Caron Butler of the Los Angeles
Clippers did in Monday's game. Butler came out breathing fire and scored a
team-high 23 points.
``He's going to come in here with guns blazing,'' coach Rick Carlisle said of
Brewer.
The ring ceremony comes during a difficult time for Brewer. His father,
Ellis, died on Feb. 5 because of complications from diabetes.
Brewer明天領戒指，他雖然只為小牛出賽共19場，但最讓人印象
深刻的就是西區第二輪對湖人的第一戰那令人激賞的八分多鐘，
讓小牛從第三節一度落後16分逆轉成功。不過小牛希望他不要像
昨天Butler一樣領完戒指就暴走，但卡帥覺得他會火力四射。
另外，Brewer在上週才經歷了喪父之痛，這枚戒指也算是一個好
消息吧。
