Mavs to get championship rings before Jan. 25 home game vs. Barea, Timberwolves Mavericks president Terdema Ussery confirmed that the team's NBA championship-ring ceremony will occur prior to the Jan. 25 home game against Minnesota. That also will enable former Mavericks and current Minnesota guard J.J. Barea to receive his championship ring. The rings were mostly designed with input from this season's veteran returnees.
