No excuse for Mavs' miserable effort
There are a lot of reasons why the Mavs have hit a massive rough patch.
有很多的原因造成現在小牛的破洞這麼大一個~
They've had a bunch of medical misery over the last month. It started with
Dirk Nowitzki's sprained right knee, an injury that forced him to sit nine
games. It continued with Caron Butler's season-ending knee injury. And it
kept going with an illness that sidelined Tyson Chandler the last couple of
games.
在這個月小牛有一脫拉庫的傷痛
從DIRK的膝蓋開始,他因為這傷缺席了9場比賽
再來是CB4讓他整季報銷的膝傷
而拳王也在最近兩場比賽因為感冒而沒辦法上陣~
But there are no excuses for the Mavs' mail-in efforts recently.
但沒有任何原因可以解釋小牛隊最近像公務員打卡上班的心態
(這邊應該是這樣吧~)
"It wasn’t just only last game," Nowitzki said, referring to a ridiculously
sluggish display in Detroit. "You could already see it in some of these Spurs
games. We didn’t really compete anymore.
"So it was slowly creeping in. We’ve got to get out of that happening."

It's a sad state of affairs when a bunch of highly-paid professionals have to
stress trying hard.
要去要求職業選手在場上認真努力,是件令人難過的事情
However, that's the painful reality for the Mavs right now. Their 24-5 start
is a distant memory, although it almost guarantees a playoff berth. This is a
team searching for its heart and guts after losing its last six games.
然而這就是小牛現在的問題所在,開季24-5的戰績就像很久很久以前的事情,
雖然小牛在季後賽名單中還佔有一個位置
這個球隊的球員必須在六連敗之後找回他們的"心"還有"膽識"
"You’ve got to have a strong collective will," coach Rick Carlisle said. "You
’ve got to rebuild your spirit."
卡帥對大家說:你們必須要有個共同的信念,並且將這個信念重新建立起來
It's amazing how quickly all the Mavs' good mojo has disappeared. This has
morphed into a team whose mental toughness has come into question.
小牛隊上那種好的影響力消失的這麼快實在是令人吃驚,
但這也代表著這支球隊在心理上的強度還是不夠...
The Mavs lately have looked like a team that feels sorry for itself.
小牛最近看起來就像是隻對不起自己的球隊
"I wouldn’t say feeling sorry for ourselves," Chandler said. "I just think
guys have just been down. What happens is guys go out, bad things start
happening, guys start looking around and trying to figure out why and you
start giving yourself a reason: 'Well, this and this and that.' We can’t
look at that."
拳王:我不會對我們感到抱歉,我希望大家能夠趕快冷靜下來,
發生的事情都已經過去了,壞的事情已經發生了~
我們必須要想辦法知道為什麼會造成這情形,
並且我們給自己的表現找藉口:"怎樣怎樣怎樣..."
我們不能變成那樣的人~
The Mavs have to spend all their energy searching for solutions. It starts
with the simplest concept in sports: Try hard.
小牛必須花費他們所有的精力找出問題的所在
而最簡單的方式就是"在球場上更加的努力"
