When Steve Nash walked away from the Dallas Mavericks six years ago to join
the Phoenix Suns, it split up good friends, but not the friendship.
當六年前Nash離開小牛奔向太陽時,
讓這兩個好朋友分隔兩地,但他們的友誼長存
That's why in the seasons after when the Phoenix Suns came to town, and vice
versa, Nash and Dirk Nowitzki would often catch dinner or hang out at the
other's place and catch up.
這也是為什麼當太陽隊來到達拉斯時,
這兩人常約一起吃晚餐或是在其他地方逛逛來個小約會
While the two remain close, getting together when in the other's town is no
longer a must. That's the case tonight. Nash and the Suns got into town late
Wednesday after Nash dished 19 assists in a win at Minnesota. Apparently,
Nash won't be heading over to Chateau Nowitzki tonight.
當兩個人關係還存在時,有沒有在一起吃飯或是幹嘛一點也不重要
今晚Nash不會去Dirk家~
"My whole family is coming in town [today]," Nowitzki said. "My dad’s
already here so I’ve got a house full already."
Dirk:我全家人都來了~我爸已經在這了,所以我沒有空房間了~
The other Suns-Mavs connection -- not including Jason Kidd having played for
both franchises -- is Shawn Marion going up against his old team. But even
that novelty after being gone several years has worn off, he said. Nowitzki
agrees. Time dulls raw emotion.
太陽跟小牛的其他關係,
不是指小孩效力過這兩支球隊
而是香妹將要對上他的老東家
但香妹說:在離開這麼久之後,跟他們對戰 我也感到很新奇
Dirk同意的說:時間讓我們彼此疏離
"He’s been long gone," Nowitzki said of Nash. "It’s not like it’s his
first time coming back. He’s been in Phoenix now longer than he was actually
here. So, I think that emotional side of it is long gone."
Dirk談到Nash:"他已經離開很久了~這裡已經跟他第一次回來時不一樣了
他現在在太陽已經超過在達拉斯的時間了,
所以我認為他對這裡已經不會有太大的情緒反應了"
