I’m 14 and pregnant. My mom wants to take care of my child as her own and won’t let me have a choice in it. I want to raise my child. Is this legal?

Hello I was 14 when I gave birth to my daughter, that was 43 years ago. Yes times have change, but one thing that hasn’t changed is that the baby you carry at any age is yours and your mom has absolutely no right to it. However, you really should welcome all the help your mom has to offer except being the baby’s mom. I would talk to your doctor and ask for help, they will refer you to many places for help. Please take the time to process what your about to embrace, being a mother is a full time job 24
hours a day, never a day off and your teen life as you know it will not exist. My biggest advice to you is, welcome all help from your mom, family, and close friends, because at 14, your going to need it. Best of luck on your journey into motherhood.
