Baseball participation is at nearly 16.7m in the U.S., the highest officially re
corded level since @TheSFIA’s survey of sports began in 2008. Baseball and soft
ball combined is at 25.3m, the most since 2018.
Casual participation in baseball is at more than 8.9 million participants, more
than double since the launch of the @PlayBall initiative.
根據美國研究各類運動人口的組織
Sports Fitness Industry Association(SFIA)的統計
目前美國的打棒球的人口為1670萬人
是自2008年開始調查以來最高的數字
加上壘球的話是2530萬人
其中打休閒的人數是890萬人
在大聯盟推動Play Ball計劃後，這數字成長了超過兩倍
