To the majors. Just prior to first pitch, the Pirates announced the unusual move. Meanwhile, Bormann was driving across the state from Bradenton to Miami. The move suggests continued concern with the health of Francisco Cervelli, who has dealt with pain in his right foot this season. Chris Stewart started Sunday’ s game.
