Cole Hamels shakes off 8 stitches in chin to pitch in All-Star Game
SAN DIEGO --Cole Hamels of the Texas Rangers pitched a scoreless third inning
in Tuesday's All-Star Game in his hometown several hours after receiving eigh
t stitches in his chin.
Fox Sports reported that Hamels needed the stitches after tripping coming out
of the bathroom in his hotel room at 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Hamels struck out Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs with runners on second and t
hird to end the third.
Asked about Hamels' mishap, AL manager Ned Yost of the Kansas City Royals said
: "I saw he had a Band-Aid on, and I didn't know what happened."
Hamels pitched at San Diego's Rancho Bernardo High.
The American League went on to win 4-2 to ensure home field advantage for the
World Series.
今天轉播時就發現Hamels下巴有個很搶眼的ok繃，原來是在浴室摔倒縫了八針...
只是發生在凌晨五點，是半夜被人叫起來尿尿嗎？
