Weavers name son Aden to honor Adenhart ANAHEIM -- While the Angels were preparing for their three-game series against the Red Sox, Jered Weaver became a father. Weaver and his wife, Kristin, welcomed Aden David Weaver into the world on Friday. Aden, who checked in at eight pounds and 21 inches long, received his first name in honor of late friend and former teammate Nick Adenhart Adenhart, just hours after pitching six scoreless innings in his season debut on April 8, 2009, was one of three people killed in an automobile accident with a drunk driver.
