Rolen not returning Scott Rolen has decided not to return to the Reds for this season, the club announced Tuesday afternoon. 紅人發布了消息 宣布Rolen本賽季不會重回球場 “Scott made significant contributions to our team’s recent success, and it isn’t a coincidence we made the playoffs in two of his three full seasons here,” Reds GM Walt Jocketty said in a statement. “He made a huge impact in Cincinnati with his work ethic and leadership on the field, in the clubhouse and in our community.”… GM說: "他曾經為我們貢獻良多 能在他效力的三季中進軍兩次季後賽絕不是巧合 所帶來巨大影響包括工作倫理或是場上領導能力 範圍涵蓋球隊和社區" Rolen also issued a statement through the team: “Right now I’m simply not ready to make a commitment.
