Rangers attempting to trade for Andrew Bailey FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Rangers are attempting to trade for A's closer Andrew Bailey. The Rangers also pursued Bailey around the July non-waiver trade deadline but were unable to work out a deal. The 27-year-old right-hander posted a 3.24 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 24 saves in 41 1/3 innings this past year at the back end of the Oakland 'pen. He'd probably like to continue serving as a closer, but Texas has already handed that job to Joe Nathan.
