[日記] fairy tale
once upon a time, there was a princess living in a tower.
she was very kind-hearted and believed the bright side of the world.
she loved fair tales, and hoped perhaps one day, there would be a prince
coming to take her away.
so, she just lived lonely and alone, keeping looking outside,
waiting for the true loves, day by day, year by year.
just at the moment she almost gave up her dream, a miracle happened,
a prince passing.
princess was very happy and exciting that her waiting was not worthless.
she opened the window and greeted prince.
prince was surprising that there lived a beautiful princess
in middle of forest that no one would come.
he was a guy full of curiosity, so he asked she lived here.
however, princess was too shy to answer the question.
she just smiled.
prince did not understand.
so, he just kept talking, and trying to force princess to answer.
but, princess still couldn't summon up her courage.
prince did not feel sad, but, in stead, more curious.
so, he told princess he would come tomorrow, and went home
figuring out the how to make her speak.
the next day, the princess still did not say a word but smile,
no matter what questions did prince ask.
so, they just kept this life day by day.
one day, princess finally tried to say out her feeling.
she talked a fairy tale about Rapunzel, and hope the prince would know her.
unfortunately, prince did not listen and care.
from that moment, princess started to lose her faith.
but, she refused to give up, and still tried her best to believed
he would listen to her sincerely.
as time went by, prince lost his interest,
and started to show his unwilling to talk to princess.
finally, prince became silent, and absent-minded.
princess stop her unrealizable dream, talking to prince
she did not want to see him never ever, and closed the window
returning the endless darkness.
she, in the end, couldn't help but give in to the desperate fate.
she realized that no one would really want to know her,
no one would ask the reason behind princess behavior.
people just do not care others feeling,
but force others to act what they anticipate.
her heart was broken and might not recover.
and the prince just left without any surprise.
all his action was just out of curiosity but nothing at all.
but this is life. it just works out this way.
and no one can stop it or even change it.
prince stood the same as usual,
while no longer can princess believe the bright side of world.
