The team and player were informed of the penalty after the conclusion of the investigation in May. Context On May 2, the Riot-provided practice account used by Jun-cheol “Eve” Seo was identified by Riot Korea’s Player Support team as using an illegal scripting program in multiple normal and ranked matchmade games. The account was immediately suspended, and the Riot Korea office spoke to Eve directly about the issue. Eve admitted to using the scripting programs and took full responsibility. Ruling Per the Global Penalty Index, using illegal scripts carries a penalty range of 10-20 competitive months. Due to Eve’s cooperation and the short period of actual script use, we are choosing to punish Eve for the minimum of 10 competitive months. He will be eligible for review on May 13, 2017.
