Fernando Torres will have a scan on Monday to determine the extent
of the hamstring injury he sustained at Villa Park.
The Spanish striker was forced to limp out of Sunday's goalless stalemate
and is now waiting to discover how long he will be on the sidelines for.
"We don't know how long Torres will be out for yet," said manager
Rafael Benitez. "We'll have to wait for the results of the scan on Monday.
"It could be he is out for seven to ten days, but until he has the scan
we won't know."
