[句子] SK2 TOEFL_Lia_托福口說第一句怎麼說
Hi~~~我是SK2 TOEFL 的Lia。
今天要來和同學分享口說答題的方式。
我知道對許多沒接觸過托福的同學而言，要開口說英文、回答題目是一件很
難的事。
大家要記得，口說考的一定是你的聲音穩定度，因此大家的第一句話一定要
自信、清楚。這也是為什麼我們必須特地將可以用來回答題目的「第一句」
都列出來的原因。
因此，今天想和大家分享的，正是怎麼開口說第一句話。
比如，如果有個題目這樣問：
Describe an important decision you have made. Why was it important
to you?
遇到這種題目時，你一定覺得有些難回答。
這時，你可以說：
"Well, I think an important decision I have made was the decision
to go abroad."
大家一看到這個題目會覺得回答乍似很難，但其實仔細觀察，我們只是把
「題目再念了一遍（An important decision I have made was) 然後再加
上答案而已 （was the decision to go abroad).
大家在這這裡可以注意的，是如果有 to，後面的動詞一定要呈原形哦！
無論是：
This decision was the decision to go abroad. (這裡我們用的是decide
的名詞)
還是
I decided to go abroad. (這裡我們用decide，動詞）
因為 to後面往往接的是「特定的目的」，因此後面的動詞一定是原形。
回到口說題目，諸如此類的題目聽起來很難，但其實我們只要把答案趕快講
出來就可以了。
如果同學覺得這種回答方式有些複雜，你甚至可以簡化你的答案。
你也可以這樣說：
"Well, this would be the decision to go abroad."
"Well, two years ago, I got together with my girlfriend, and that
was a veryimportant decision."
大家有發現嗎，其實我們可以用很簡單的句型把答案講出來。
再舉一個例子。
如果題目是類似的呢，但問的問題卻不太一樣，大家會怎麼答呢？
題目是：Describe a time that was important to you, and why it was
important.
我會說：Well, this would be the time when I left my family to
study in another city.
這是不重複題目，直接給出答案的方法。
如果你想再聽起來有自信一點，你可以加一句：, and THAT was a very
important time in my life.
在講這一句話時，記得 this would be the time when 的後面一定要加一
個你做過的重要的事，並且要用 S+V 表示。
Well, I think this would be the time when I broke up with my ex.
(S+V)
This would be the time when I was a club leader in the guitar
club. (S+V, 實際上用 This would be the time when I led a club會更
好, 因為態度更強～但在此答案中，我們注意到的是leader, Leader 會讓
人直接有 important time, you must havelearned a lot ～的印象，所以
這裡的答案是ok的～)
或是你可以說，
When I was a sophomore, I led a guitar club. This was an important
time in my
life.
總之，遇到這類重點為時間的題目，記得要帶到"this was the time when
I V. (didsomething...)"
或是可以直接說
"When I was twenty years old (age), I (did this). This was very
important."
（重複題目或題目裡的態度）
Last summer, I (did this), which was quite important.
表達時間的方式有很多，如果大家害怕，可以直接帶一個特定的時間點，如
此可以讓答案的開頭更順暢。
帶一些其他的題目來讓大家更瞭解如何開始自己的第一句話：
1. Describe an important lesson you learned in your childhood.
Well, this lesson happened when I was 20.
同學如果不知道如何繼續延伸，可以先參考以下的答題句型：
When I was 20, my friend and I had an argument.... So my friend
told me...And because of this experience, I really understood that
it is important to...
2. When you and your friend have a disagreement, what would you do
?
Well, if my friend disagrees to me,
/ Well, if my friend and I have a disagreement, I would first try
to think on
his point of view.
/I would first try to understand his thoughts.
其實我們可以用不同的句型，講出類似的話～ 所以大家在練習回答時，可
以練習用簡單的句子先把答案和態度講出來。
比如：What do you think about living in Taiwan?
即便很害怕，你還是可以說出：
Well, I think living in Taiwan is good.
然後再慢慢把為什麼好講出來。
It's good because in Taiwan, we can ...(吃很多很棒的食物或有沒有什
麼很棒的活動可以做？）
最後兩題：
Q: Which one do you prefer to learn: play the piano, swim and
repair a car?Why?
Well, I would prefer to learn to repair a car. This is because I
can learn alot of things about cars when I repair a car. For
example...
Q: What food would you suggest the university cafeteria add in
order to attract more people?
Hmm, I would suggest the university to add pizza in the food list
for students! (我刻意省略cafeteria, 因為 cafeteria 同學較不會唸)
Pizza is just so delicious!
