As usual in recent years, most of the cars in the final run will peel off
long before Istanbul. Other cars will be hooked up en route. Only one
carriage second class, no sleeping berths—was scheduled to make the entire
Paris-Istanbul trip.
A French Railways spokesman said the 72 seats on the final through-car were
sold, first-come, first-served, at 439 francs ($88) one-way.
