Nash got a lot of notice for his 10,000th career assist — only John Stockton, Magic Johnson, Jason Kidd and Mark Jackson have more — but he also made all four of his free-throw attempts to inch ahead of Mark Price as the league’s all-time best free-throw shooter (minimum 1,200 attempts). Nash entered the game Wednesday night in San Antonio having made 2,944 of 3,257 career attempts: 90.3899 percent, barely ahead of Price’s 90.3933. Nash went back and forth with Price throughout last season, but Nash in San Antonio made both of his free throws — both on Stephen Jackson technical fouls — to stay on top for now.
