lead the Lakers to an impressive 130-124 road victory, demonstrating again

he took to get here, but he is here nonetheless. The Squeaky Wheel is the
game's best player, and he's leading the game's best team.

Hell, you can call the Suns the Big Four. They have Shaq, Nash, Amare and

(and let me add that the addition of Kurt Thomas was critical given Amare and
Pau Gasol shifting to power forward). The Mavericks will chase the title with
Dirk, Jason Kidd and Josh Howard. The Pistons had a league-high three
All-Stars, Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace. You know about
KG, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen in Boston.

night. Yeah, Shaq was getting acquainted with his new teammates, but the
Lakers were without their 7-foot, ascending center. Gasol had to guard Shaq.

on the scoreboard when Shaq was on the court. For the game, they were minus-1

and penetration. The Suns are quick and athletic. They have the players to
scramble and close-out on three-point shooters. It will be Shaq's job to grab
the rebounds and throw good outlet passes.
