我最近有類似問題，
(使用 XeLatex, \documentclass{book}
chapter & content 標題上下空白太多)
找到文件

在第5頁3.3節前
Notes:
\titlespacing does not work with either \chapter and \part
unless you change its title format as well by means of \titleformat,
the simple settings, or \titleclass.
Arguments in \titlespacing must be dimensions;
然後另外找到以下，也試了可行
\titleformat{\chapter}[display]
{\normalfont\huge\bfseries}
{\chaptertitlename\ \thechapter}
{20pt}
{\raggedright\Huge} %這五行需加在\titlespacing前
\titlespacing*{\chapter}{0pt}{0pt}{40pt}
