Goal.com / Skysports / Yahoo 賽後評分 Casillas – 6: Only had a couple of saves to make in the first half. Unlucky to be beaten for Chile’s consolation goal after Millar’s shot deflected off Pique. Skysports: 6 Yahoo : 6 Sergio Ramos – 7.5: Showed great strength and discipline to keep track of Beausejour in the first half. Had more freedom to roam forward once Chile where down the ten men and he didn’t disappoint with his marauding runs. Skysports: 6 Yahoo : 6 Puyol – 6.5: Always in command of his area and marshalled his defence well when Chile were Too slow to close down Millar, however, for Chile’s goal. Skysports: 6 Yahoo : 6 Pique – 8: Made an all-important tackle to deny Beausejour on the counter-attack, which subsequently led to Spain’s second goal. Comfortable on the ball Skysports: 6 Yahoo : 7 Capdevila – 6: Kept busy as he had to shackle Alexis and often needed help from a team-mate to contain the tricky Chilean winger. Skysports: 6 Yahoo : 5 Xabi Alonso – 7.5: Dropped deep in the first half when his side were under immense pressure and was always present in the box to help defend. Supplied the long ball out of defence that led to the opening goal. Skysports: 7 Yahoo : 6 Iniesta – 8: Involved in almost every Spanish attack. Started the move for the second goal and finished it with the most clinical of strikes. Showed great control of the ball to draw out and take on players. Skysports: 8 Yahoo : 7 Torres – 4: Did not look fit at all as he was on walking pace for most of the 54 minutes he was on the pitch. Skysports: 4 Yahoo : 5 Villa – 8: Barely had a look-in in the opening phases but took the one small opportunity he had with aplomb with a precise 30-yard chip. Followed that up by providing the assist for the second goal. Had two excellent chances in front of goal in the second half. Skysports: 8 Yahoo : 8 Substitutes: Fabregas – 6.5: Made two defence-splitting passes immediately after coming on. Spurned a chance himself late on with a miscue. Skysports: 6 Yahoo : 6 Javi Martinez – 6: Despite being deployed as a defensive midfielder, he spent most of his time lurking just outside the Chilean goal. Rarely troubled defensively.
