IT Application Specialist
Description:
The purpose of this position is to support Diamondwipes with their computer application needs. The Application Specialist is responsible for investigations, escalation and resolution delivery for application issues surrounding Microsoft Dynamic NAV (ERP) – DOMO (BI)- Warehouse Scanner System(WMS).
The IT Application Specialist outlines the cause and guides resolutions to the system including working with the Application users. The IT Application Specialist also code SQL scripts for operational, analytical reports and ETL processes. The IT Application Specialist need to translate business requirements into the visualized KPI cards via BI platform.
Jon Functions:
Report Design and writing complex SQL queries to support BI development, troubleshoot BI issues using SQL development and querying tools.
Responsible for SQL Server administration, design, security and maintenance.
Design and building reports, visualizations and exports accurately to business requirements within the allotted time.
Provide Support on Application related issues.
Provide Application Administration, Configurations and Modifications.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Position Requirements:
Candidate should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Candidate should be a self-starter, hands on, do whatever it takes personality.
Candidate must be able to function efficiently in a fast paced, high stress, results oriented environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System or equivalent experience.
