[問題] 請問等待綠卡approved時如何更新駕照呢？
大家好,
我目前的身分是H4＋申請綠卡中(已submit I-485,並收到收據I-797C )
我的H4將在9月到期，因此駕照也跟著在9月到期
最近收到DMV要求更新駕照的通知，通知信件中要求我出示合法居留美國的證明，
但我配偶的公司還沒有幫他extend H1b，所以我也無法extend H4
因此我想能不能從綠卡方面著手，我查了DMV網站，發現其中一個可被接收的文件是：
Notice of Action (I-797 Approved Petition) – must indicate approved extension
of stay or change in status that grants temporary or permanent residency, or
indicates that an original, duplicate or renewal Resident Alien card is
forthcoming.
我想我的I-797C應該是不被接受了
看了板上和網路的文章還是沒有找到答案
若等申請到H4再更新駕照是否太晚了？
請問還沒拿到綠卡的板友是用甚麼文件更新駕州呢？不知能否分享一下，先謝謝了！
