Now he’s back, for one night, with a team that is doing O.K. but not nearly as well as the suddenly dominant Knicks. On Saturday night, several players were asked their thoughts about Monday night. Two of those who commented, Steve Novak and Tyson Chandler, were happy participants in Lin’s giddy run last season. Two others, Jason Kidd and Raymond Felton, were with other teams last season, although both came to the Garden as visitors while Linsanity was riding high and witnessed the phenomenon up close. Here is what they had to say: 尼克明天將要面對休士頓火箭，裡面有豪哥跟TD 不過記者只問了大家關於豪哥回到MSG的感想，下面這段就是: Steve Novak “I think Linsanity has come and gone. Obviously, him coming back to the Garden will be special. I think Linsanity was that period in time. That doesn ’t define Jeremy as a player. He’s still got a lot to do, and he will. More than anything, I think it will be special for him just to finally be back in the building.” Also: “I think the fans will agree that time has past. He’s at a different place now and has a different role. He brought a lot of excitement to the city, a lot of excitement to the fans of New York. I think everybody appreciated him for what he did last year.” Also: “He did an excellent job of bringing a lot of cheer and a lot of great vibes to the city and the arena in general. You know, I had a fun time playing with him. I don’t know what his reception will be. But whatever it is, he’s on the other side now.” And this: “Anybody I was friends with, I kind of consider myself to always be friends. So I always — not on a basketball level, I could care less about that. But just in his personal life, we always want to see him doing well. So we check up every now and then, just through text messages. It was great. I’m happy for him. He got his money. He’s Houston’s starting point guard. So I wasn’t coming in here trying to be him or be nobody. I am who I am. I did some great things when I was here the first time. So he came in and what he did was amazing. Like, I was watching every game. He hit game-winners. He was doing all that. He was amazing, but it’s time to move on. We 18-5, whatever the record is. We 10 and 0 at home. So there’s no need to talk about that no more.” He went on: “They should give him a standing ovation when he comes back here, without a doubt. He’s in Houston playing for the Rockets and trying to help his team win.
