J.R. Smith needs another initial in his name for the playoffs. X seems
appropriate.
季後賽即將開打，小屁孩JR需要給自己來個縮寫代號，看起來“X”是非常適合他
的字母。
Because he's the ultimate X factor for the Knicks in their first-round
series against Miami.
原因很簡單，因為在尼克首輪對熱火的系列賽中，JR就是尼克的終極X因素。
"We need him focused," Carmelo Anthony said earlier this week.

If the Knicks get "Good J.R.," they could have a major advantage
in bench play over the Heat.

coming into the series -- could be nullified.

"We need everything out of J.R.," said Anthony, who teamed with Smith
for 4 1/2 seasons in Denver. "…. We all know what he can do offensively --
especially when he's shooting the ball the the way he can shoot the
basketball.

Smith has had an eventful 35-game tenure in New York so far. Signed
after he played a stint in the Chinese Basketball Association during
the lockout, Smith has averaged 12.5 points in 26.7 minutes for the Knicks.

往中國征戰了一段時間的 CBA聯賽，隨後在2月份中旬他和尼克簽約。在為尼克

At times, he's been erratic. At times, he's been electric.

After a strong Knicks debut in a win over Dallas on Feb. 19, Smith shot
just 36 percent from the floor in the next 10 games.
在2月19日代表尼克出戰的首秀中，JR表現得很是強勢，但是之後的10場比賽，
JR的投籃命中率只有36%。
But he scored in double figures in all but one of the Knicks' 13 games in
April -- the highlight being his seven three-pointers in the first half
against Boston on April 17.
4月份的13場比賽，JR只有1場得分沒有上雙，最搶眼的一役就是4月17日對超賽
，當時他上半場就投進了7個三分球，相當瘋狂。
Smith may be in his final days as a Knick.
征戰完這個季後賽，JR也許不會再留在尼克。
The New Jersey native has a player option for next season. Two league sources
with knowledge of Smith's situation say he will likely turn down the $2.5
million option and test free-agency this summer, where he's expected to
command a much higher salary.
他的合約中包含了下個賽季的球員選項，有兩個了解JR情況的聯盟知情人士透露
稱，JR很可能會放棄和尼克的下賽季價值 250萬美元的合同，選擇在今年夏天試

Right now, the Knicks, as Anthony said, need everything out of Smith. In
