[閒聊] Knicks notes
Because of Bill Walker's hot shooting from downtown during the preseason
(41.7%), he may get the starting nod at shooting guard for the Knicks' first
regular season game Wednesday against the Raptors (New York Daily News).
Toney Douglas will also be highly considered to replace Wilson Chandler, who
the team thinks can bring more scoring and versatility off the bench. "The
starting lineup might be different after seeing some things because we don't
have that conventional (shooting guard) that you can pencil right in,"
D'Antoni said. Lurking in the shadows is Landry Fields, whom D'Antoni says
has acclimated very quickly to the NBA (New York Post). "He could start, he
could come off the bench, he could be a guy we use night-to-night in a
different role depending on match-ups," D'Antoni said.

While D'Antoni cherishes the opportunity to work with Stoudemire, he said if
he could coach any player from a previous era, he would choose three: "Magic
Johnson, his ability to affect the game from any position he plays. Bill
Russell, probably be the same reason -- then I would be known as a defensive
coach (laughs). Jerry West, just because he's my idol."
因為 Bill Walker 在季前賽的表現(41%的命中率)，有可能在第一場例行賽於周四對暴龍
時成為先發得分後衛。
