Amid the announced crowd of 15,108 at Verizon Center were strong pockets of Kings support, thanks mostly to Donté Greene and Jason Thompson. The rookies with regional ties – Greene a Baltimore native and Thompson hailing from New Jersey – had at least 100 fans on hand who were loudly heard throughout the Kings' 106-104 loss to Washington.
