[心得] 朋友寫給我的一封信,害我好想哭~ 在這裡跟大家分享
Dear Katherine:
There are two more clips I saw recently, sort of "positive" about
Michael Jackson.
The first one is Whoopi Goldberg defending Michael on the talk
show "The View", on ABC television after his death. "The View"
is a morning talk show hosted by 4 female hostesses, I never liked
the show when I was in the US, 'cause those four women were
simply TOO NOISY and couldn't stop talking....and the way they
criticize everything is simply too subjective for me. But I
know housewives and moms love this show, that's why it has been on
the air for over 12 years now.
But, why now, Whoopi? Maybe she was already brave enough to
defend him on this show....but, still, Why not EARLIER, when
Michael Jackson still got a second chance to live like a respected
human being? <320.gif><320.gif><320.gif>

The next one is from "Good Morning, America", hosted by Diane
Sawyer, talking about MJ's skin disorder and its possible effects
on a patient's health. Diane Sawyer has interviewed MJ in the
mid-90s, at least twice (as far as I can remember), one was the
famous one in 1995, with Lisa-Marie Presley upon their first-
year marriage anniversary. The other was in MJ's recording
studio, talking about his music-making. Even though Ms. Sawyer
has talked to Michael one-on-one, she still remained negative
about MJ, like most of the journalists in the media. This clip
is the only one I've seen she finally viewed MJ as an ordinary
person and showed some sympathy for his health problem. .....WHY
SO LATE? WHY DIDN'T THE MEDIA BELIEVE HIM WHEN HE FIRST
REVEALED HIS HEALTH PROBLEM? Again, the man you tripped to the
ground was dead, and no second chance for him now.

It's not only about Michael Jackson, in general, I despise those
who love to twist the facts and make something profitable to
themselves. It happens all the time in our society, ALL THE
TIME!! Michael Jackson was just an easy target 'cause he lived
in the spotlight. I always consider a person like Michael
Jackson an ordinary living soul, with extraordinary ability, but
as vain, superficial, vulnerable and confused as we all are. He
was no saint or near to being perfect. He made mistakes and bad
judgement, he lied sometimes for his personal reasons....although
I believe it's NOBODY'S BUSINESS on some discussions about his
private life, including his sexuality---as a human being, I can
totally identify with him even he "slipped" sometimes or having
inappropriate thoughts--that's just being human, maybe not the way
MJ wanted his fans to see him, but he was just blood and flesh.
I've finished reading the book about his 2005 trial. Share my
thoughts with you next time.
Talk soon.
