Camoranesi hails super Brazil

Azzurri winger Mauro Camoranesi has conceded that Brazil remain
the best team on the planet despite Italy's World Cup success.
儘管義大利贏得世界盃冠軍，Camoranesi仍然認為最佳球隊是巴西。
The Juventus star made the claim after arriving in Argentina,
the country of his birth, for a post Germany 2006 holiday.
Camoranesi放假中，在剛抵達出生地阿根廷時接受了訪問。
“I think that the only side who had more quality than us was Brazil,”
said the former Verona midfielder. “However, they were eliminated
in the last eight.
他說：「我認為惟一比我們義大利水準更高的球隊只有巴西，
不過他們在八強戰就被淘汰了。」
“We were certainly not favourites to win,
but we knew that we had a good squad who could have a good competition.
Perhaps we didn't think we could win,
but were confident we would do well.”
「我們肯定不是奪冠的最熱門，但是我們知道自己有個好陣容，能打場好仗，
或許我們不覺得自己能贏，不過我們有信心能打得很好。」
Camoranesi's comments weren't well received by the Argentine scribes
who immediately asked whether their nation was weaker than Brazil –
despite their great showing at the World Cup.
Camoranesi的評論沒讓阿根廷新聞記者聽清楚，
所以他們馬上追問自己的國家是否比巴西弱。
“Let's just say that Argentina are on the same level as Germany,
England and Italy,” dribbled the wide man.
Camoranesi說：「讓我們這麼說吧，
阿根廷與德國、英格蘭、義大利處在同一水平。」
“Who would have won in a game between Argentina and Italy?
It would have been a balanced tie,” he continued.
“Italy could have won it or drawn…”
「阿根廷跟義大利交手誰會贏？這會是場五五波的比賽，
義大利應該可以贏或者是打成平手。」
Camoranesi made five appearances in the competition and
did add a certain stability to the Azzurri midfield as a result.
Camoranesi在世界盃決賽圈上場五次，是義大利中場的穩定力量。
“It was a marvellous experience,” added Camoranesi.
“I had personally only ever seen celebrations like that on television.
Camoranesi說：「這經驗令人驚歎，我個人之前只在電視上看過那樣的慶典。」
“Whoever plays football dreams about such moments.
I can assure you that it is so much better being
at the centre of such a situation.”
「只要是踢球的人都會夢想著那樣的時刻，
我可以跟你保證在那種情況下處於中心的感覺更是好上太多！」

每次這傢伙談到國家隊都會讓我很緊張，
生怕他講錯話又要被罵，不管是阿根廷人或是義大利人，
偏偏這兩隻國家隊我個人又都很喜歡…
還是覺得巴西是最佳球隊？無妨～
反正冠軍是義大利的，而世界上也還是很多人覺得巴西不可能輸，
就繼續這樣吧。
