Task 1 寫作準備教材 Simon 因此其實我在這裡跟大家講的都是上面來的> <! 非常建議大家把Simon網站Task 1的部分從頭到尾看一遍!!! 把他給的建議複製並自己整理到word上。還有將所有範文連圖一起複製，分成不同的類別(線圖分一類，餅圖分一類，這樣分)，並將他用的好字好句在文章中標注，甚至也將常用的單字分類做成表格。這樣在自己複習的時候可以快速的翻閱! 簡介 Task 1是一個大家比較沒有接觸過的題型。它會給你一的圖表，然後要你用客觀的語句去描述。通常，如果是表格或是線圖餅圖，比較非常重要!Simon說那是考官想看到的東西。除了表格，線圖，柱狀圖，餅圖之外，會遇到的還有流程圖跟地圖。在這兩者，也要用客觀的描述，但就比較不需要做比較。文章架構我的文章價購是參考Simon的架構，也就是: 第一段: Introduction (rephrase the title) 第二段: Overall information 第三段: Detail 1 第四段: Detail 2 第一段呢，就是它題目給你的那句話，再參考圖表上給的文字，去重新寫一段意思相同，但用字或是句型不同的句子。舉例來說，題目給的是:The climograph below shows average monthly temperatures and rainfall in the city of Kolkata. 而Simon他rephrase之後的introduction為:The chart compares average figures for temperature and precipitation over the course of a calendar year in Kolkata. 通常，第一段只要一句話!!! 要盡量包涵所有訊息。包括: (1)什麼樣的圖表 (line graph, pie chart, bar chart, map...etc.) (2)主題是什麼 (Eg:temperature and precipitation) (3)年代，地區 (如果有的話) 但如果題目給你兩個無相關的圖表，就各用一句話去形容這兩個圖表。第二段，Simon建議把整個圖表的大方向及最明顯的特點寫在這一段，不要包涵任何數字。大方向是什麼呢? 像是整個圖的走勢是上升，下降，還是波動。最明顯的特點則像是: 最大，最少，改變最多，差異最大，等等。而第三四段的話，則將圖表的細節分別平均的分散到兩段。單字單辭我只寫一些比較簡單解釋的> <，有些用法比較複雜，大家可以看Simon的範文，整理，然後就可以漸漸知道怎麼用! 百分比 the proportion of (只能接主詞) the percentage of (同上) the figure for (可接的範圍較大，也可直接接比較的地區或國家) eg. the proportiona of / figure for the people in USA is 35%. the figure for USA is 35%. 增加 Increase / Rise Rise (rose risen) 名詞 an increase in sth 名詞 An 7% rise 動詞 increase to 數字 --> 增加到多少動詞 increase by 數字 --> 增加了多少 increases with age 減少 Fall / Decrease / drop 與上用法同維持 Remain stay roughly the same 最高點動詞 peak at 數字 peak 名詞 reach the peak at數字 at its highest reach a record high 最低點 reach the bottom at 數字 bottom the lowest point at 數字 at its lowest Reach Reach the peak / bottom Reach 35 % 忽然增加 with a jump of over 15 % suddently 大約 Around = approximately = nearly 常用形容詞 slightly / gradually / suddenly / continuously/ steadily / stably 倍數 1. there is a twofold increase in the number of XXX between 2000 to 2012 2. the figure for N double from 2000 to 2012 3. A is twice as much (many) as B / A is twice more than B 未來式 1. is expected to be… 2. is predicted that… 3. is likely to be… 模板分享我的模版~ 第一段跟第二段其實也沒有什麼特別的，但如果你不用思考去想開頭要寫什麼，可以幫你省一些時間的! 第一段開頭 The chart/graph compares.... The chart/graph show informtion about.... The chart/graph shows changes in the number of… 第二段開頭 It is noticeable that... 第三段與第四段這兩段，我是會將我要用到的所有句型記下來，然後將他們一個一個套用，這樣可直接增加句子的豐富性~! 以下是我會用到的句型。單純講數字的 1. The proportion/number of N + V 2. 數字 of N + V 3. N1 account for 數字 of N2 (eg. dryer account for 17.5% of electricity use) 講增加減少我會用 1. The number of XXX increase… 2. A (twofold )increase in XXX can be found 3. There is an increase in XXX 合併的句子我會用 1.
